History
It is an organization for women’s Empowerment and Emancipation-Legally came into existence in 1991 with a view to provide platform to women for self-reliance, self- respect. Its origin roots in to the struggle made against Punashi gang rape case by Police and other several cases on women’s atrocities within the voluntary organizations in Bihar .The negative attitude and role of the court and the administration and even NGOs geared up the process of forming organizations to be managed by the women for their empowerment.
Vision: March towards a Humanistic, Just and Equity based society through women’s Empowerment – both intellectually and politically. |
