Jan Kalyan Shiksha Prasar Samiti (JKSPS)
In the history of JKSPS, the year 1997 brought much learning during implementation of the project under various focus areas. The focus areas were viz; documentation of process, capacitating the community and local contribution, streamlining M&E and MIS system, facilitating and strengthening peoples institutions on accounting system, streamlining MIS for micro credit management and watershed development, Health Care and bringing confidence and transparency among the community.
Jan Kalyan Shikshan Prasar Samiti (JKSPS) started to work with mandated of participative development and creation of employment through farming and non-farming activities for sustainable livelihood options support and assistance towards land reclamation enabled the people to earn supplementary income for their livelihood. Simultaneously capacity building of local people in diversified activities helped them to find out additional means of livelihood options. In addition, integrated development strategy has been adopted for sustainable farming and creation of infrastructure. With this strategy considerable progress has been made in achieving self-reliance, which reflected in reduction of migration of people
